At Smart Living Spaces we offer two options: the Garden Building – a room for work or leisure use, and the Granny Annex – independent, self contained accommodation complete with kitchen and bathroom facilities. Whichever model you choose, we’ll build it using Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs).
SIPs, as it’s generally known, is an innovative 21st century build system that offers design flexibility, a very short build time (the basic structure can be up in days, not weeks) – and great levels of insulation, so much so that SIPs-built buildings are officially classified as low energy. So SIPs buildings are not only cost-effective to build (and therefore cheaper than traditional builds), they’re cost effective to run.
SIPs offer you plenty of opportunity to configure the size* and shape of your Garden Building or Granny Annex to suit your requirements. However, our bespoke options don’t stop there. You also get to choose fixtures and fittings and the design touches that make your new living space totally unique to you. Want floor to ceiling windows and a living roof? No problem. Stylish timber cladding or a rendered finish in the colour of your choice? That’s fine. Underfloor heating? Why not? Whatever you have in mind, we can work with you to create the extra space you dream of.
